| Ikaris Gothic is simply a figment of imagination
brought to life. Dark pleasures rest inside everyone, whether it
be as full fledged as the desire of bondage and S & M, or as
small as just wanting to look 'dark' when going out. The sexy feeling
of wearing smooth fitting leather or PVC garments, be it a tight
corset or a pair of hot pants, or even a simple skirt or pair of
pants. Or perhaps it is the soft feel of velvet against the skin,
in a Victorian style dress, or a little tank top for clubbing. All
of these feelings come from the inner urge to rebel against 'normal'
social standards of clothing. Garments created from Ikaris Gothic
express just that, and are spawned from the designers' own dark
imagination, inspired from the surroundings of gothic hangouts and
'freakish' people within the environment he has immersed himself
in. The heavy sounds of rock and the loud beats of industrial music
help create both the mood for the clothing and the inspiration to
create these addictive items. The designer of Ikaris Gothic simply
brings to life that of his dark imagination, and creates tools for
the public to bring life to theirs. |

Ikaris Bio
I moved to Toronto in 2001 for college, and took the Fashion
design program at the International Academy of Design and
Technology. I graduated in 2003 and instantly opened up
my small custom clothing business, Ikaris Gothic. Since
being in Toronto I've helped out with different things,

event New Scream, Dark
Vanity, and the cyber goth clothing store Posepod.
Through it all I've always tried helping the alternative
scene around me while promoting myself. Right now i'm taking
breaking from running stores or fashion shows and just getting
down to making clothes, i hope you like them!
